Rouse is an alarm clock made by Yuksel Apps. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.

What we collect

Nothing. Rouse has no accounts, no sign-up and no servers of its own. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location or any identifier that points to you.

What stays on your phone

Your alarms, wake-up streak, task history and settings are written to your device's private app storage and never leave it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. We cannot see any of it, and we cannot recover it for you.

Purchases

Subscriptions are sold through the app store on your device (Google Play or the Apple App Store). We never see or handle your payment details.

To know whether your subscription is active, Rouse uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated app user ID together with purchase and subscription information from the store — for example which product was bought and when it expires. This identifier is not linked to your name or email and is not used for advertising. RevenueCat acts as our data processor.

Permissions and sensors

• Notifications — required for the alarm screen to open over your lock screen. Without it the alarm cannot appear.
• Exact alarms — so the alarm rings at the minute you set, even in battery saving mode.
• Battery optimisation exemption — so the system does not close the app before your alarm is due.
• Motion and light sensors — read only while a walking, shaking, jumping or light task is on screen. Android does not require a permission for these sensors. Readings are used in the moment and never recorded.

What we do not do

• No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
• No analytics, tracking or behavioural profiling.
• No crash reporting services.
• No selling or sharing of data, because there is none to sell.

Children

Rouse is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Since the app collects no personal data at all, this is unlikely to arise.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Everything the app knows about you is on your phone and is removed when you uninstall it. For purchase records held by RevenueCat or by the app stores, contact us and we will help you reach the right party.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's store listing.
